    Pip is built for children from 3 to 17. A parent or guardian (18+) creates the account, adds a profile with a name and birth date, and sets the rules. Kids never need an email or a password.

    ChatGPT is a general-purpose AI for teens and adults. Pip is a child-safe AI chat managed by parents: every message is filtered, you choose topics and helpers, quiet hours pause chat at bedtime, and you can read every conversation. Kids never borrow a parent’s ChatGPT login.

  • Can I read my child’s conversations?

    Yes. The parent side shows every chat. Issues lists anything Pip refused, and any extra-care reply when a child may need you. Optional lock-screen alerts, if you turn them on, never include the child’s words. Children see an age-appropriate notice that parents can read their chats.
